The sedative method of action of lemon balm is due to the synergistic action of the active ingredients terpenes citronellal, citronellol, geraniol, linalool, limonene and derivatives of phenylpropanol, such as eugenol; while valerian extract interacts with GABA and benzodiazepine receptors. A special property of valerian extract is that it is attractive to cats. Similar to catnip. The active compound in valerian root is actidin, and it mimics the odor of cat urine caused by 3-mercapto-3-methylbutan-1-ol (MMB).

Each tablet contains: Valerian plant extract, Melissa plant extract, Excipients

method of administration: Mix with food or directly in the animal's mouth.

Recommended doses: The individual effect must be taken into account to adjust the dose since both the onset and the period of action are highly variable. These are safe plant extracts and no adverse effects have been reported from use in animals. 

An initial dose of: Cats 1 tablet per day, Dogs: 1 tablet every 10kg of weight is recommended.
